Do you agree with supporters of illegals that drinking & driving & having accidents is really no big deal even though the illegal have no license or insurance.Supporters point out Americans have caught doing this and so they defend the illegals and blame Americans for having DUI laws in the first place ?Like in Mexico drinking and driving you pay a bribe off you go and it's all good and in Mexico this is considered to be a very minor crime.The same as jaywalking

    Nothing is a big deal when those doing it also provide chaos and cheap labor. They seem to not think pedophilia is a big deal either.

    jill darling, where do you get this stuff from?? really, stop the fear mongering. its getting old. drinking and driving is a big deal, and so is having an accident. no one is supporting such actions nor is anyone advocating that people who have been convicted of such crimes be legalized.
    please find a new angle. this one is worn out

    I don’t think they think it is no big deal, they just like to point out that legal citizens do it as well. To me it makes it that much worse if it is done by someone who had no right to be here, neverless driving!!!

    You are correct to point out that drinking and driving in Mexico is not a very big deal if you pay off the cops and in fact, many issues with regard to driving and other offenses are easily paid off by "mordida". The deal is with illegals, they do not want to abide by any rules whatsoever, first, they have not followed the immigration proceedings that are necessary while others around the world are doing so and waiting the time that it takes and then this sets up a course of lawlessness on down the line, next, working with no papers, possibly using a fake i.d. or committing identity theft, next they will not be filing the proper tax paperwork correctly and next if they decide to purchase a vehicle, well they will not have a license to drive, unless they can find a state that still issues licenses with out SS#, next some of them can get insurance with some of the Latino insurance agencies with their Mexican license, but many of them blow it off and not even try to get any coverage, next, when it comes to drinking & driving, this issue creates a very serious one, because of the deaths that drunk driving causes, whether they are illegal or not. In other words, there is no defense of anyone driving under the influence. (period) Let alone anyone trying to justify illegals driving drunk.

    Activists must.Their first line in damage control is to defend the illegal and point out the illegal is only doing a crime that people in America are doing and this makes it justifiable and the illegal being illegal has nothing to do with his decision to drink and driver.Although we can say with an illegal being drunk and he sets out driving impaired his ability to grasp American laws is very impaired as he cannot speak english and being drunk would impaired his ability to make out traffic signs, is twice as hindred as an America. Its a very well know fact that in Mexico they do take drinking and driving very seriously and will allow the driver to escape any charges if he can bribe a police officer and the illegals mindset is that of what it would be in Mexico.They refer back to what was taught to them as citizens of Mexico.
