In Ohio they have a law about giving yellow tags with red numbers for convicted drunk drivers and ALL family members. The Columbus (State capital) Mayor's wife 4 years got a serious DUI, caused much property damage and resisted arrest, was found guilty. Of course no jail time and admitted she had a problem and paid a fine. What I am getting at, is why every car in the mayors entourage didn't have to display those tags? Maybe not the Govt. cars, but at least his, he makes the rules. Whoops, I guess I just answered my own question.
Oh Don and yes you did answer your own question .. Don’t do as i do because you are not worthy of it but you better damn well do as i say.. That my friend is what the politicians live by … Our city manager here got a dwi in missouri and walked on it .. My Kid got a dui three years ago and it ruined the last three years of his life and he was just barely over the limit … but hey he was just common folk and we only spent around six grand trying to buy the legal system.. yup that highway patrolman really uh helped him out for a fact …
Because the law calls for those cars registered in the offenders name or the name of immediate family to have those tags. As you have said, the cars are not his and are not registered in her name. They are registered in the name of the Govt. Now, if the Mayor ever chooses to drive his own car or if he leaves office the tags should be there.
