When a person is charged for DUI this may be an exhausting experience for him. Moreover, when people realize that they can be jailed, they find it difficult to make out what to do in that case. But the most reasonable decision that can be taken in such cases is hiring a federal criminal defence attorney .

Driving while intoxicated is considered to be one of the most costly criminal offenses consistently performed by American drivers. Besides DUI there are also certain charges which concern the possession and use of drugs. According to Federal and State Laws it is a crime to possess any substances which are considered to be illegal. Certain lawyers, drug possession attorneys, deal with such cases.

Austin Criminal Attorneys offer legal representation to protect their clients' rights. They do their best to help you to overcome your charges. The same is true of LA DUI Attorneys, who handle cases which occur in Los Angeles. They may work as individual lawyers or they may be a member of a law firm. What concerns the fines associated with driving while intoxicated it is necessary to mention that if the DUI case happens for the first time, the person rarely has to pay incarceration penalties. They just end up in some form of alternative sentencing program. For the DUI offense itself the driver will have to pay a certain amount in fines and court costs, the latter usually vary from 1000$ to 1400$. However these are only the initial costs related to FUI conviction and they vary from state to state.

If someone fails to pay there DUI fines in Arizona, what is the punishment?
I know a friend who ignored her DUI fines. It went to collections and she was arrested a couple of days ago. She is waiting in jail to see a judge. What will happen to her? I am super worried.

I am surprised you still have a valid license. It’s called: Suspended for failure to pay fine. Also it is possible that a warrant can be issued for not following a court order (paying the fines) take care of it before it catches up to you.
    Good Luck.

What happens when you don’t pay your court fines for a DUI?
I got a dui over 3 years ago and took all my required classes and have a valid drivers license now. I never paid the $1500 in court fines because I didnt have the money. What will happen if I go to pay it off now?

  5. Zanthus says:

When the fine is announced by the judge, the judge may ask, will you be paying that today, or do you need time. A judge is almost always willing to give a bit of time period to pay, or in some cases, if the fee is excessive, a monthly payment plan.

The usual would be 30 nights, I say nights because they will let you out on work release.

At your first court hearing for DUI, do you have to have all the money to pay fines by the court date?
I have a friend who was charged with a DUI. He is worried about not having the money to pay all the fines by the date of the hearing. Can they throw him into jail if he doesnt have the money or will they set up a payment plan? In Michigan.
