In Texas, first time DUI arrests fall under class B misdemeanor. If you are one of them, you may need to serve time from 72 hours to 6 days. You may also have to pay a DUI fine, which should not exceed ,000, depending on the degree of DWI cases.
The good thing about first offense is not having your car impounded. However, you need to complete a 12 hour DUI class, which you should complete within 180 days after probation was granted. Otherwise, your driver's license will be revoked.
For second offense, your DUI charges will be considered a class A misdemeanor. If you have a third DUI charge, it is equivalent to a 3rd degree felony. The time serve will be 72 hours to not more than 1 year. If you face a 3rd DUI charge, you will serve jail time from 2 to 10 years.
The first thing to do when you are charged with a DUI offense is to find a DUI attorney. If you cannot afford to hire a private DUI lawyer, the State has the duty to provide one for you. However, it does not guarantee that you may be given the best quality of representation, because public attorneys have a long list of people being charged with DUI.

Why do you want to obtain these names? Is this some type of vigilante justice? Do you plan on passing out flyers with their names on it to their neighbors or trying to humilate them in public?
Or do you work with some type of business that works for insurace companies and reports at risk drivers to them?
I think any type of vigilante justice would be morally and ethicially reprehensible. Those arrested of DUI already pay their debt to society. The criminal justice system is responsible for bringing them to justice and deciding what their punishment should be, not some vigilante.
Be reminded that in this country every citizen is innocent unless and until proven guilty. Not everyone that is arrested for DUI is guilty of DUI. Everyone that is arrested and not had a trial yet deserves the presumption of innocense.
I can call up your local police department and give them a bogus story that you raped me. They would then have probable cause to arrest you for rape. How would you feel if some vigilante decided to label you a rapist and put your name on flyers? Wouldn’t you want to be presumed innocent unless you are proven guilty?
Instead, if you choose to go ahead with this, you should collect names of those CONVICTED of DUI.
I suppose that you may want these names and contact info. for some time of research on drunk driving. That would be entirely alright. If that is the case, then good luck.

i just recently got a dui. i am only 20 yrs old, and i blew over a bac of .05 i know my dl will be suspended for at least 1 year, but i am just wondering what else could i be expecting. i am already expecting the worse so, no need to sugar coat, i know i’m screwed. i have never gotten in any kind of trouble before, i have straight A’s in school and i was very cooperative.

you should be able to get on a site in your home town / DUI laws where i am from the police have there own web site and answers of such nature are right there, every co goes about it differently, but i know if you blow over point.08 your drunk driving. believe you me.
You’re unlikely to draw jail time if you have no priors. Just a stern warning and maybe some probation and/or community service.
Unlike most of the young people who post this question, you sound like you learned your lesson. That will go well with the judge.

License suspension/DUI info Florida?
Last night i got pulled over for careless driving after hitting a curb on a round about. I was wasted and under 21 but the ticket i got is for careless driving not DUI. But i was given a notice that my license is suspended for 6 months for blowing a .183 and being underage/driving. Will i have a DUI on my record now or when my suspension is up can i get it cleared off? oops.
