Drinking Driving - Are You Impaired The Morning After?
Author: Diane Palmer
That was a really good time you had last night with your friends at the local pub. You ate good food and the pints were flowing. You had already planned ahead of time to take a cab, which was good thinking, now you were free to have a great time, so more beers were flowing.
Now, after a good nights sleep, you are feeling pretty good considering, no hangover. So, you get up and head out the door for your errands, but surprised to see they are doing road side testing at 10 am, that seems strange.
So, they test you and you FAIL. Stunned and shocked you are arrested and handcuffed like a criminal, and you still can't understand how you could be charged with Impaired or DUI.
What happened? You took a cab home, all you have had this morning was coffee, how could you still be impaired? Well chances are you are. All the ads push the getting a cab, staying at a friends, but no much reporting on the fact it can take 12 hours to get rid of last night..
If you are unsure, then maybe it wouldn't hurt to get a breathalyzer and find out for sure. With the allowed limits being lowered all the time, it doesn't take much to fail a road side test. Protect yourself and everyone else on the road around you and stay home until you are good and sober.
One police officer told me, they catch many impaired drivers in the morning on their way to work after a night out. A charge of impaired driving can ruin your life, So, be proactive and make sure you are clean.

Which car will Dale Jr drive? Amp Energy or National Guard?
I want to buy my dad the 1:24 scale diecast for his birthday. I seen the green amp energy drink #88 and I seen the white national guard #88. Which will he drive? in the pictures it looks like the green amp energy #88 dont have a back window, but it looks like the white national guard #88 does…whats the deal with that?
thanks for any help, i would ask my dad but dont want to blow the suprise.
He will drive the amp energy car for the first half of the season then switch over to the national guard car. I’m not sure what he will be driving next year.
Okay, Dale Jr. WILL drive a Chevrolet bearing the # 88, sold to Hendricks racing by Yates, as reported on ESPN early this morning. It’s a done-deal ! No brag, just fact ! Yates sold the number, and gave permission for it’s use, so Jr. will drive the # 88. I just wish people would read the question, then answer it. Personally, I’d rather see Dale’s sponsor be Dr. Pepper, because I hate both Mountain Dew and Amp, but I was never fond of Budweiser either, lol.
What do you think about Dale driving the 88 car?
Sponsored by Mountain Dew and Amp energy drink
Just saw it on Sportscenter
i am trying to find the sports drink “amp” made by pepsi (the new sponsor for the nascar number 88?
earnhardt, jr will be driving the number 88 car for hendrix motors in 2008……pepsi is the major sponsor and amp sports drink is the sub sponsor…….i have been trying to find the sports drink…….maybe it does not hit the market until next year ???? what is the answer ???
If you were a driver could you drive a car with a sponsor that you disliked?
The drivers that win are always drinking Pepsi, Coke, Amp, etc. whatever sponsors their car, would you drink and promote something if you did not like it? Think about Viagra, Extenze, etc.
Which Sponsor do you dislike the most?
Sure. They pay a lot of money for that sponsorship, plus they would be giving me the opportunity to drive. Can’t always be too picky. I can’t think of any current sponsors that would cause me to not want to drive for them.
My least favorite sponsor is Miller, but that’s because I have always been a fan of Anheuser-Busch products.
Since Amp is an energy drink, try checking at grocery stores, or convenience stores around the Red Bull and the other Energy drinks.
