If there is probable cause for voiding the DUI than where is that law I want to read about it!
I want to see it written.
Thanks for the info I don't go and drink drive the man reason was to see if turn round on a dui and see cops stop you!
If there is no law prohibiting other U turns, then yes, you can turn around.
It will give the police the Reasonable Suspicion to stop you, though. There are usually cars stationed at those to check anyone who turns around. If you’re sober, but didn’t want to wait…you go on your way. If you had something to hide… off to jail.
EDIT-
If you turned around and got stopped, and got arrested because you were drunk, then you will not get the arrest thrown out. It was a legal stop and a good arrest.
if you had nothing to hide, you wouldn’t have to turn around.
if you weren’t to drunk to look around you may notice a few cruisers parked on the side streets, unfortunately for you avoiding a DUI check point is probable cause to pull you over.
