I lost my license for DUI in Pennsylvania awhile back and life in general is downright hard without a license especially when you live in the middle of nowhere.
I've heard people mention that they had gotten a license from another state while their PA license was suspended. My question is, how do I do this, and what state is the best to go for?
First a couple of clarifications need to be made by you.
1. awhile back? what was the actual result. We can’t give you a complete answer without knowing the whole facts. I don’t mean point by point. Arrest, Charge, conviction, penalty – what were they? Most states, regardless of how strict they are, don’t just take your license away and never give it back. There was a penalty and it has a finite time attached to it. In my state 3 to 6 months is the penalty phase and even after 45 days you can apply for a temporary license. Check out this site for reference: http://lasvegasnevadadui.com/html/penalties.html
2. what state are you planning on going to? It matters. Contrary to popular, uneducated guessing, not all states have reciprocity – a reciprocal agreement that they will observe the other state’s court decisions and laws. http://lasvegasnevadadui.com/html/laws.html
You can very easily go to your local court or city hall and see what states your state has reciprocity with. Heck, you could plan your life around it. Fresh start, no worries, blue sky and so on
sorry if you use your real name they wil find it no matter what state your in if one lies about who they are and where they live might get one but sooner or later wil catch up with ya
Down a few shots and go to your local DMV. Ask them that you want an Alaskan driver’s license that includes dogsleds.
A. If your license is suspended in one state, it’s suspended in all 50 stares, Washington DC, US territories, Canada and Mexico.
B. You can only get a license in a state if you are a resident of the state.
C. See A.
You bet life is hard without a license, but you have only yourself to blame for that.
I would try http://www.duihelpnow.info
You can legally drive this motorcycle without a license or insurance. I lost my license and I had to drive one of these for about a year. hope this helps.
