How does a DUI convicted charge affect my application for a permanent resident card renewal?

    oooh yeah, sorry guy. My family worked in the foreign service, so take it from me first hand. Any misdemeanor or felony charges brought and convicted will automatically remove you from being given a visa, resident status or renewal.

    Sorry to tell you that. That right there was a hard lesson. Changed your life right there.

    What’s sad is, it’s such an easy thing to avoid. Call a taxi.

    Get an attorney though who is adept in immigration and naturalization.

    It will not be Renewed…
    You broke the Law, think it states something
    about doing that will cause your Temp Card
    to be revoked…on the papers you signed…

    Strongly suggest that you start making
    arrangements to return to your Country
    of Origin…

    Your renewal will be denied because of the conviction for DUI. Time to start packing for home.
