Do NC court provided driving privileges provided as a result of a DUI allow you to drive out of NC as well?

I pled guilty to a DUI charge in a NC court and was provided driving privileges from the court that allow me to drive 6am to 8pm Monday through Friday and 24/7 for work. It is not documented on paper work whether or not this allows me to drive out of the state of NC. I cannot get a straight answer...





I pled guilty to a DUI charge in a NC court and was provided driving privileges from the court that allow me to drive 6am to 8pm Monday through Friday and 24/7 for work. It is not documented on paper work whether or not this allows me to drive out of the state of NC. I cannot get a straight answer from my lawyer, which everyone keeps referring me back to.

    Restricted license is usually limited to the state you live in.

    I’d not leave the state.
