Possibly in the Army, but doubtful. You still have options as an enlisted man, but your commission as an officer will be an uphill battle. Talk to a recruiter.

You need to ask a recruiter, but I certainly hope that one little mistake wouldn’t keep you from serving our country.

Call and ask the question anonymously if you’re afraid to ask him face-to-face.

Well if it is any help my friend I became an officer with a DUI charge (.14 BAC). This was some years back and I had to go through a stringent waiver process for it. Do you have a college degree or at least 90 college credits? If you get a good recruiter to work with you this DUI offense can be waived and you can get an OCS contract.

I am walking proof that DUIs dont stop the Army from commissioning you!

make sure its the army and request a waiver.

make sure you’re up front and honest and request the waiver.
