If you have stopped drinking, and/or have gone through classes in order to keep yourself sober and more responsible, then that would be something you most definitely would need to verbalize to the interviewer. anywhere that doesnt require a 4 year degree probably. they will want to check his records and make sure he has taken AA classes.
if you have stopped drinking… you should let them know. People will forgive mental health problems from years ago.
