I’m a Lethal Weapon fan, I’ll admit it.But Mel’s career started going the way of the dodo (pun intended) when he started that born again,I’ve -found-Jesus bull kaka.He alienated so many fans with that, he may as well retire into obscurity.Did you catch the anti-Semitic remarks he made during his arrest, though?If anything, he annihilated the rest of his career with that.
My reaction: so what, don’t drink and drive, its not that hard of a concept.

That guy is a nut. He doesn’t act anymore. He makes movies now. He’s a Religious fanatic.
Although, I don’t agree with driving intoxicated, he is human too. Everybody else gets to make mistakes, why not him?
I dont think its a big deal. He is not the first celeb to be arrested. I also dont give a damn if he made anti semitic remarks or not. People can say anything they want and it doesnt have anything to do with drunk driving and i am tired of the media making a big deal about it. It doesnt change my opinion of him one little bit.

I don’t care if Mel drinks, but I don’t think he should get any special treatment just because he’s a movie star. If he was caught drinking and driving he should get the same penalty as anyone else.
He’s human. He made a mistake.

And rehab is probably a badge of honor in Hollywood.

i think people shouldn’t make a big deal out of it.. people are born to make mistakes and just because he’s a celebrity doesn’t make him a god. i bet if it’s the guy who works at wall mart was arrested no one would care
Whoa! I didn’t hear about this. I need to stay in the loop. That’s funny. There’s some things I could say about Mr. Passion of the Christ, but I won’t. They aren’t nice, and yes it will affect him, because people thought he was such a fine upstanding Christian after that movie came out.
I like his movies but I couldn’t care less about his DUI arrest.

I guess alcohol is the passion of the mel.
it proves the danger of drinking period.As well as the danger of drinking and driving,instead of doing damage to life and property,it appears he did damage to mouth,career and future property.
