Jail is the only reasonable punishment. And not for one pathetic month. For what she is facing, any normal person would be sent to jail and have several years of probation and their license suspende, as many people have already said.
I hope she gets jail time, but I also hope she doesn’t just because of the media circus that will follow it (i.e Paris Hilton… How sick is it when the Breaking News story is that some rich, famous, and, in my opinion, stupid is put in or release from jail?)

I hate wishing bad things on anyone but I think she should serve jail time, not home confinement. She has many things to be thankful for, good health, talent, good looks and great family and friends to help her earn money.
Then she turns around and lets everyone down. Jail time might get her to think things over, become thankful for all she has been blessed with.
I got an idea: After a couple months in jail give her community service working at a residential school for the severely handicapped. About six months would do it.
I watched the Herbie movie she was in and enjoyed her acting. I’m not really mad at her or anything, I’d just like to see her get better so she can make some more funny movies for me and my grandchildren to watch.
