My boyfriend was arrested for DUi, he was not read his miranda rights at the time of his arrest, is this ok?

Does his rights have to be read to him at the time of his arrest or could it be later? Or does it not have to be read at all? This was in AZ. ...

   If he was drunk who cares what happens too him
