Are you leaving the country and then returning? It depends on the country (and it would be their immigration, not LA’s). Some do not allow people with DUIs; Canada is one of them.
And I’ve never had my finger scanned when returning to the country from overseas. That being said, it’s possible it will show up.

If immigration finds out about it, then it will show up. But only if they have decided to deport you. I have known non-citizens to get arrested on minor offenses and not get deported and others get deported. You should have the DUI expunged from your record asap.
