Last year, my boyfriend was taken to the police station after an accident and was given a blood test for DUI. We had been waiting for the court date, but never received anything or heard anything since then. Is there a way to find out the status of this without having to pay for a lawyer? Since we never received a summons, I am a little worried. Shouldn't the summons come in certified mail? Since it has been so long, could he possible have a warrant for his arrest? We are in the state of Pennsylvania.

His license has the correct address and the officer came back to my house directly to return the insurance papers when he was at the station. I am sure they had the correct address. I have no idea what could have happened.
Contact the police department and the court systems. They may have sent the summons to another address if he used the wrong address or hasn’t changed his license and the officer used the address on his license instead of asking him his current address.
