I was arrested for a dui last night and went to get my car where I left it and it wasnt there. They did not tell me they where towing it nor where. First off, can they do that? Secondly, where would they tow it in Allentown, PA or how can I find out where? Does anyone know or can find it, I haven't had much luck. Thanks!!
They always impound a car if its for a DUI. Some states make you wait 12 hours before you can get it. Call the police and they will be able to tell you what tow company took it.
If it was towed, the police can tell you where it was towed to. It would have been towed if it was in a place where it could not be legally left.
Call the department that arrested you, they will know exactly where your car is.

The police do not need to tell you your vehicle is being towed, nor do they need your consent to tow the vehicle. In order to get your car back you will need to pay for the towing of the vehicle and any impound fees and the daily storage charge.
Yes they can, actually they are REQUIRED tom, tow that car if an arrest is made and their is no one available to drive it someone off the road. You WERE told it would be towed, but were to drunk to remember. Contact the police and ask THEM where your car was towed. They will either give you the answer, or take your stolen vehicle report.
