How do I find out what degree of a misdemeanor it is? I’m from California and it was a first time offense. I’m also under 21. I’m applying for jobs and I know it’s a pretty immediate setback to check the box that says I have commited a serious misdemeanor, so I was wondering if I really had to.

The prosecutor is addding the Habitual Substance abuser enhancement because I have had 2 other DUI convictions. We tried to plead but she insists on 1 yr for the DUI and 5 yrs for the enhancement and that is non suspendable! I live in Illinois now and am considering not going to court. Any Advice??
I will lose my livelihood if I go back. What if I get myself in a position to go back sometime in the futur and face my consequences? Are any of you lawyers or have had experience with this? Thanks
