A little history, I was recently arrested for DUI in IL. There is very little if any probable cause. Currently being appealed for lack of probable, but in the mean time I have to work. I live in IL but work out of state typically, and have to rent cars to get to my place of work. I travel almost all 50 states, many times way outside of cab range. I pretty much have no choice but to rent a car at the airport I fly into and drive.
As far as getting an MDDP permit, there are exceptions for work vehicles but only if the vehicle is in the companie’s name. In other words, they can’t make the company I work for install a blow device on their car, but how would this apply to rental cars which are only rented for the purposes of performing my work duties?
If no luck there, I’d like to get some ideas on just how to get to/from work in extremely remote areas. I might be 1 or 2 hours drive to/from the nearest airport, and sometimes that long of a drive from my hotel to my place of work.
This one is quite a pickle, most people can just get a ride to/from the same place, but not me.
This happened to someone very close to me. It was a first offense, and the arresting officer lied about him refusing the chemical test. Now this individual has a suspended DL for one year, even though the court dropped the charges.
I think it’s wrong that these individuals have that kind of power.
Julius, really , it’s not nessecary to use this site as a platform for rudeness. Just a simple, decent answer that denotes some vague intelligence would be nice.
Actually, he was convicted of the dui but the charges for refusal of a chemical test were dropped. The truth is, in California, the DMV can still do what it sees fit with your dl.
I am trying to search for a DUI arrest record in Milford, Delaware. So far, I have not been able to find it. How do I search for it?
At six O’ clock on saturday i went to my buddies house to hang out. When i got there two of my friends were there with a kid i dont even know and one of my friends was drinking a little, my other friends left to go see a movie and me and my one firend who had been drinking stayed and dropped a few. I Drank a lot of alcohol. (BAC = .287) when i was arrested. around 10 O’clock i woke up from being passed out by then my buddies dad was on his way home and his older brother was home and his older bro. friend was there. there was a knock at the door upstairs. It was two Idaho falls policeman we let them in i was in the bathroom throwing up. i was donwstairs they were upstairs, they asked to see me. so wheni was walking upstairs my buddies friend told me to not get him in trouble.( he DID NOT buy us the alcohol. they questioned me and asked me if i had driven here while dirnking i said: No he then said did you travel with the alcohol in your car i said : Yes to keep my friend safe.
the alcohol was at my friends house they came off a of a juvenile party and im under age. the people who can testifie to this all were not drinking. they searched my vehicle and there was no alcohol in it.
I need to know, I had some e-rolls hidden in my car, but were not discovered at time of my arrest or included in the police report. But when I picked up my care from the impound, they were missing from my car. Can I still get in trouble for this?
