Am trying to find a auto insurance company that covers first offense dui drivers. With low cost auto insurance. Does anyone know of any?

I began the hiring process for my local PD and Sheriff Dept.
I subsequently was arrested for suspicion of DUI a few months ago. As a result of that, I withdrew from the process to wait till the final outcome.
In the event my case does not get filed by the DA and ultimately gets dismissed.
Thus far it has been 3 months since and still not filed, there is a statute of 1 year to file.
How long should one wait to resume the process?

In ’98, I was a high school student in GA. While abusing substances, I entered another vehicle to steal the radio, and was arrested and charged with “Entering an Auto” (felony). The judge placed me on 1st Offender status, ordering me to complete the program requirements/probation. In ’00 I was charged with possession of Marijuana. My plea agreement was negated, the felony was placed on my record. I continued on this path of self-destruction. In ’01, after a charge of DUI, I was mandated to complete Probationary Boot Camp and in-patient treatment for substance abuse. I experienced sobriety for the first time and began working and completed the program (drug-free to this very day). In ’03 I continued to work while attending college. I graduated SummaCumLaude in ’06, earning a dual degree in Psychology/Sociology. I still have 2 jobs, but my goal is to go back for pre-med sciences, then go to med school. What are my best options for acceptance? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

My boyfriend and I are planning to move to florida after he gets off probation for his dui here in michigan. since were moving to a nicer climate and gas prices keep going up and up, he wants to get a bike. Being that my mother is an ex ray tech and Im parinoid already having lost my brother, father and step father (rightfullly so i think) I dont want him to bc theyre dangerous! Im hoping the insurance rate for a 25 yr old male w a dui would stear him away from it consitering hes also going to have plpd on his car as well. Is there anyone around tampa, about 25, have have one and about how much do u pay? and if you have a dui thats even better lol

dui laws, seat belt laws, anti smoking laws, fatty food laws,. All these laws were paid for by the insurance companies to keep down over head. the insurance companies bought votes through campaign contributions and lobbiest firms headed by mad and the american lung association or the american medical association <front foundations charitable trusts used to avoid taxes> and with the government taking over this is gonna be twice as bad you do realize this? they are gonna use this to strip our rights and liberties away through cost saving measures. its like trading the mafia for the KGB. you people out here do see this right or are you still looking at the uninsured people as being more important than all our liberties?
side note: i hate repeat HATE the insurance companies but i do realize that this government should be trusted even less. they are the ones who took the pay day to vote away our liberties and lied to all of us for it.
An idiot friend of mine just got into an accident on the freeway, caused road damage, totaled his car, and got his second dui. No other cars were involved. But his cousin was the passenger and sustained minor injuries during the crash. The driver has full coverage on the policy but this is his second dui in california. Will the insurance company cover damages to the road and hospital bills incurred by his cousin? ambulance, pain &suffering etc.. or are they shit out of luck because they were both under the influence? Could his cousin sue the insurance company? All answers are helpful, thanks for your time.
