My boyfriend was out having dinner and a few beers and got pulled over, he blew a .09, but was never asked to go for a blood screen, then he went to meet with the police and they said he did refuse, don’t they have to have you fill out a form for either getting one or refusing one?? Also, where is a good site where I can get Pennsylvania DUI laws that are legitimate? Thanks for all your help in advance. No smart comments please, this is serious.
ok, well he hasn’t and wasn’t arrested for anything that night, nothing! Which was more than a week ago, it was a .09, not a .9, so it wasn’t high, our pa law is anything over.08. All I am asking is where I can see the laws myself, just to look at, incase he gets charges, also he does have a lawyer if he does get charged officially. PS-I definitely know drinking and driving is wrong and now so does he, and I thank goodness nothing happened to anyone.

i was wondering if i can just get my license without auto insurance and car so i have id. i know i can just get an id but i was wondering if I could just get my actual license card without everything else. i am 17.

thanks

I have heard that cops sometimes use trick questions so they can search your car without reason.

I was pulled over the other day, it was a Friday night after Xmas and I saw at least 25 cop cars in a 15 mile distance, they were on the prowl looking for DUI’s I guess.

So anyway I did a quick u-turn in a residential area with no blinker and a bike cop got me. He I had nothing to drink but he still had me follow his pen and tilt my head back to see if i was drunk or been drinking.

He then asked me "when was the last time you smoked Marijuana" not if I smoked marijuana… is this a trick question?

I told him I never smoked, but if i would have said "yes two years ago" would that have given him the right to check my car?

This gentleman has had two prior dui’s and has just been stopped but not convicted of a third. He wishes to know the law concerning this.

In 10 days I’ll probably get convicted of a DUI when I show up to court.

My insurance policy just expired. I’m thinking of going with a different company. Any idea what company won’t raise my rates too much when I get the DUI? How long will it take my insurance company to raise my rates? Do I have to contact them? What’s the best way to go about this?

When they raise my rates do I have the option to cancel or am I stuck in the contract?

Thanks.
I already paid my debt to society and to God.. No one was injured. I lost my job, was homeless for 6 months, almost died several times, and had my life pretty much crushed.

So why are not pro drink drivers protesting as well.

If a cop sees a car driving all over the place and stops some guy and he looks intoxicated and stinks of alcohol then he can give him a sobriety test.

If a cop sees a car doing the same and stops a guy who has no license, registration, insurance and cant speak english isint that reasonable suspicon that he is an illegal.

My 1st time offense and hopefully the last, anyone no of a good car insurance that is reasonable in prices. I’ve been driving for 10 yrs and no tickets did have a clean record until this happened now I feel like a felon california DUI laws are too harsh bastards thats how they make money!!

There are way to many arguments for it not to be. With all the facts on the table, such as prison space being increased, street prices lowering and therefore lowering crime, marijuana being healthier than cigarettes, taxing opportunities, I don’t see a real reason why it should not be legal. Don’t even think about saying "Do you want people out on the streets high?" I deal with people out on the streets drunk all the time. Obviously, there would be limitations, similar to DUI’s and Drunk in public offenses.

I think a lot of it comes from drug companies and their pressure in washington via the right. Do you think there’s any merit to that, or can you think of another reason?

late traffic fines.?
