I blew into the machine and they couldnt get a good reading, so they arrested me for suspision of drunk driving. The took me to jail and drew blood, booked me in, and jailed me for 7 hrs. I got a ticket and court date 12/22 and they let me go. They never told me what my BAC level was. I dont even know if I was over limit for sure. I have never been in trouble for anything at all. what should I expect now? should I get a lawyer?
I drove one hour and 60 miles before they pulled me over. I think I was target for some cowboy cops. Im actually starting to get pissed off about it and will fight it!!!!
I had less than 9 beers in 7 hours. I doubt I was .08%…….But I heard you can still be arrested even if they suspect it. The breath machine was inconclusive and they drew blood to see for sure. If my level was under .08 I will sue the police dept for making me stay 6 hrs in jail with a bunch of degenerates. I have been twice as drunk before lots of times and driven…..these chp’s were cowboys and I will fight this crap

Does his rights have to be read to him at the time of his arrest or could it be later? Or does it not have to be read at all? This was in AZ.

do auto insurance companies look at the date of violation or the date of conviction becuase they usually don’t ask for violations that are over 5 yrs old. I am going to get my license back soon because of the conviction this year, but will auto ins cmpnys look at the 2000 violation or when i was actually convicted in 2007?

What do you think the penalty should be for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs? Do you think that this is a wide-spread problem? Do you think that people should have the right to drive while intoxicated? Do you think that our society is too harsh on intoxicated drivers? Do you think that our society needs to be tougher on intoxicated drivers? Can the problem of intoxicated driving ever be solved?

I was charged with this offense about 2 and a half years ago. all fines were immediatly paid for, and 6 months of Alcohol classes taken. Ive been desperatly trying to enter the navy for over a year. This is the only thing standing in my way. Will the judge understand?

My husband stupidly got a DUI in March but our insurance still hasn’t changed. I’m worried that when we renew our policy it will go up. I co-signed for his truck so I’m technically the owner also. Can I insure his truck in my name and just take him off the policy completely since I have a clean driving record? We would obviously have to lie and say that he doesn’t drive the truck. Do you think this is possible?

If I was parked in a parking space on a parking lot and my car was smashed by a reckless driver who did not stop by sped recklessly away and I called the CHP 911 cops to make a report of the damage and how it occured. I was emotional as a few weeks ago I survived a head-on collision by another car over a 30 foot cliff that totalled my car and the police reported it was not my fault at all
but the other driver’s: so I told the COPS why I was such a nervous wreck about this damage to the rental car and I wanted a report. They accused me of lying and blaming the damage on innocent people and said I was too upset to not be drunk. They questioned me over and over and arrested me for medication in my purse which I had mixed in 1 bottle. They arrested me but I had no alcohol in my system as they insulted and accused me. Then since I was too upset to pee they took my blood and I did have marijuana since I smoked it days ago and some meth because I drank it in coffee given me.

I had a DUI in Arizona in 1988, I went in to a DMV office here in California. As the person was ready to renew my license, she found this old DUI offense on her computer and would not renew my license until I dealt with it with the Arizona DMV, isn’t there a statute of limitation that should have erased that 1988 DUI???? I need to drive.
