Can I have the judge expunge my DUI I was charged and arrested for 5 years ago. I have been clean ever since except a stop sign ticket

My car has always been insured under my father’s name. He had a DUI a year ago, and the insurance costs rocketed. Do my rates rise also, or can I separate myself from the DUI and find my own insurance?

My hubby is a local dump truck driver who got pulled over for light but police found over ounce of marijuana and small scale,they dropped dui but will d.a file for possession or drug classes? he dont sell but admit to smoke 2 hrs. before.

I live inn Humboldt county. I was told that I was one and a half times the legal limit. I took a blood test. I don’t know the results, yet. But I assume they support the officer’s claim. It is my first offense. I was very cooperative.

Does anyone have references on Neil Shouse or Earl Carter and associates or how about Ross Howell Sobel… I have been trying to see on line for any reviews on these three firms but no luck…. so hopefully someone can recommend a good attorney for LA county… thanks

I plan to just plea guilty and avoid trial? Is it advisable to write the judge a letter explaining myself ? I am very bashful and am affriad I will not be able to speak up when I am in front of the judge. I have never been in trouble before,I have 2 teens that would be home alone if I have jail time since their dad works out of town.Should I ask for deferred adjudication?

Yeah, according to the police, it became a felony because it involves two charges:
1. DUI
2. Vandalism (the threshold is 0 and the car repair costs are higher than that ~estimated at about 00)
The location is San Diego, CA.
By the way, he was taken to jail where he was supposed to stay 5-6 days but we bailed him out.

I was stopped and cited for not yielding to a pedestrian cvc 21950(a). and received cvc 12500 (a) unlicensed. My car is impounded for 30 days. What other penalties will i receive. I am in santa clara county in California
